So it is considered one of the greatest works of Roman architecture and Roman engineering. Furthermore, up to this date, the columns are still used to support ceilings and saving cost and space at the same time. The above examples and reasons have proof that the ancient Romans accomplished many feats.They had incredible scientific advantages and made advancements that were used during their time and the present time. Architectural significance was above and beyond. Each building of state significance should bear representations of the great effect of Roman architect. As of today, Roman architecture is still felt in a host of European buildings or its remnants since the ancient times. It is their advancements we often require for granted that make them one of the most prevalent and influential peoples on our society today.
